Where do Back-to-School Sessions take place?
Back-to-School Sessions are available throughout Huntsville, Madison, Athens, and the surrounding North Alabama area. Some of my favorite locations include Dublin Park (Madison), Sharon Johnston Park (New Market), Hays Nature Preserve (Owens Cross Roads), and Swan Creek Park (Athens)—each offering beautiful natural scenery and timeless backdrops.
Have another location in mind? I'd be happy to photograph your session at another outdoor location that's meaningful to your family. Just let me know when booking, and we'll find the perfect setting together.
What should my child wear?
Choose outfits that make your child feel comfortable and confident. School uniforms, backpacks, books, letter boards, sports equipment, musical instruments, and other school-themed accessories are great ways to personalize your session.
Can siblings and parents be included?
Absolutely! Siblings are welcome in every session, and parents are encouraged to join in for a few family portraits. If you have multiple children and would like additional time for individual portraits, sibling combinations, and family photos, the 60-minute session is the perfect choice.
Is there an additional fee for multiple children?
The 30-minute session is designed for one child. Additional children are $15 each. If you have three or more children, I recommend the 60-minute session to ensure we have plenty of time for individual portraits, sibling photos, and family images while creating a relaxed, enjoyable experience.
How do I reserve my session?
Simply choose the session that's right for your family, select an available date and time, and complete your reservation with a $25 retainer, which is applied toward your total session price.
